I'd also go with slipper socks - they have anti slip pads on the bottom but are soft and furry everywhere else - they keep your legs warm too if you get long ones!
I'd also recommend size 12 to 3, even if she's into a size 4 they would still fit her, as most are pretty stretchy.
you sounds like a lovely auntie, btw!
You can also wrap up / make a little hot chocolate mug pressie for her - mini marshmallows, and some hot chocolate powder wrapped up in a nice mug so you can make her big girls hot chocolate ( keep the scootie cream in the fridge) A couple of biscuits on the side would be nice too.;)
M&S food halls do the mini marshmallows, not seen them anywhere else.:DMember of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

I definitely agree with the others try and find someone to ask. My daughter is 16 and a size 4 which is smaller than themull1's 11 year old.
If you buy them from primark be careful to make sure they are big enough. I have a lovely pair of pale pink slippers I bought from there but I had to buy a larger size than normal because they were on the small side.0 -
my almost 10 year old is a 1, maybe you could take an average

also think the slipper socks thing is a great idea my little girl loves those and some are meant to be quite big. or what about leg warmers? think they are back "in" now. not that i'll be wearing them again!:rotfl:0
