 Thank you!
We really had a truly amazing day - apart from a few spots of rain the sun shone! The meal was amazing and the venue couldn't do enough to help - they were fantastic! The whole day was relaxed (bar the monster in law but I'll come back to her). People commented on how well it went and we loved it! It really was our dream day!
My new husband has said he is having nothing to do with his mother from now onwards - and I am not talking him out of it this time! She scowled through the service - in fact she asked him a couple of hours before if he was sure he had to do this to her! She then disappeared after the service -to her room we later discovered (she had bottles of wine in her room). Someone went to find her for the pictures! Unfortunately!!! She then had her meal - and said it was fantastic! But asked for ice cream instead of cream with her cheesecake and moaned when the staff didn't bring her it back straight away! After the meal she disappeared, again! Which was probably a good thing! Someone realised she was missing at 8.30 when we were about to do the first dance and went to get her (and his dad) they staggered into the room. She then danced our first dance with us, stood on my feet, elbowed me and spoilt it quite a lot! After that she disappeared again missing the cutting of the cake - then complained they hadn't got any cake!
Eventually they went to bed at 9.30pm - about 3 hours too late!:eek: She had by this point also almost knocked my nana off her seat, flashed her bare backside to all of the guests, offended pretty much everyone in the venue and made her own son swear!!!!! The manager said after she had disappeared if she had upset anyone else a taxi was being called for her! In some ways I wish she had!:rotfl:She didn't speak to anyone other than my hubby the next morning - in fact they left as everyone else began to appear for breakfast! To be honest it was for the best as myself, my hubby, my MoH and my parents were fuming with her!
We really did have an amazing time - it was such a special day and the service was perfect! People have described it as being us - which is exactly what we wanted it to be! There was only one thing we would have changed - who we invited! Definitely a perfect MSE wedding - cheaper than even we budgeted for (£4000)! x0

Well yesterday there was a knock on the door! The photographer was there with a disc of pictures! They are amazing. I have put up a small selection here! They really did impress me! Apart from the fact that I look a bit on the fat side when stood next to my hubby! Need to fatten him up a bit I think! x0
