Moving house packaging boxes

Hopefully soon after years of wanting to move I now have the opportunity too.

However as I like to plan ahead I am looking into getting some boxes for moving. Does anyone recommend a company reasonable priced as money is tight on a company that sells boxes for moving as we will hire a van to move

I think buying boxes for moving = money in the drian.

you probably should check out how much those boxes cost (something like £1 each for the size of 24 bottle Bud box).

Based on my experiences, if you have the luxury then start now:
    1. goto your local yahoo free cycle groups and post a wanted msg.
    2. get in touch with the manager in your local pub ask them to save up some beer boxes for you.
    3. in fact, you can try all sorts of shops, even the corner shops (they have plenty crisps boxes, not strong but you can always put light stuff in it) and the Chinese take aways/restaurants etc.
    4. Supermarkets, but it will probably depend on your luck, sometimes they have them at the back by the loading bay.

a week later, after doing all the above then you should have enough boxed to fill your 2.5 tone van - Full load.

Good luck with the moving :D

  • Mc Donalds & Iceland were both really good when we moved

Go in and ask what day they have their deliveries and they should be pretty helpful

The boxes were good and strong and ideal for moving house. most of all they were free and you could flat pack them for storage prior to use
