Whsmith - Cheap books - using various vouchers and offers

I know people have posted about individual books but I thought I would post what I did today which has an additional bonus!
There are a selection of books that are buy 2 get £10 voucher free.
I used the 20% off voucher on these 2 books so got 2 books for £27 and a free £10 voucher.
I then got a £10 book (Chris Evans) with the £5 off voucher and paid with £5 of the free gift voucher.
I then got a £12.99 (mini shopaholic) book and used another £5 off voucher and paid with the remaining £5 gift card and 2.99 cash.
So I basically got 4 books for £30, which originally cost a total of £57.99. (even though I know some were over inflated in the first place!) :T
Now if you really wanted to push it you could have used the £5 off voucher with the 20% each time and got it even cheaper however I didn't want to push it.
A few xmas pressies sorted

As i have said on the voucher thread, book prices vary from store to store so you may find an offer that someone has posted may not be so good in your local store. Having said that, i am sure depending on what you are looking for, there are plenty of good combinations to be had.
My local store is now advertising up to 70% off the top 30 or so books. However, it is still no better than last weeks up to 60% off. The same and only 2 that were 60% off are now 70% off whilst there are some at half price with the rest, and most popular ones around 25-30% off.
It is sometimes best to hang on for prices to fluctuate unless you find that combination that works best for you. HTH0
