Sorry to hear that, but on the bright side at least they give you points you would have received anyway.

  • Savvybunny and Kismet - you'll both have Happy Mummies on Christmas Day! And MrsWack - I'd forgotten you'll get your points anyway!! So a bit of a consolation prize for you, and perhaps it'll come back into stock.

Have you checked your online account to see if the points are pending? Boots policy is if they have to cancel an order due to an item being out of stock they give you the points you would have received and any free gifts you would have received so you don't lose out. Also If you do a 3for2 and one of the items is out of stock they refund the price of one of your items so you are don't end up worse off. Quite a few people benefited from this policy on the estee lauder points booster glitch.

If your points are not showing as pending in your account or in your account I would get on to Boots to ask why :)

it seems they only give you all the points if they send you something from your order. like with the lancome products i ordered 1 eyeshadow & 3 juicy tubes & they sent me the eyeshadow (cost me £13) & gave me 5020 points :j so maybe if anyone manages to order these again it might be worth ordering a cheap item as well just so that you get the points if oos ;)
    Happy Bargain Hunting!!

Well you live and learn. I never knew that. I shall be sure to order something cheap every time now! Thanks for the tip.
