    Thanks for this jadan.
I've just placed an order for a shower gel and mystery gift total cost £2.90 p&p.
Also went through Greasy Palm which gives £2.50 cashback for every order.
So in effect only cost me 40p
    :)

Done this loads of times - in fact most of my Greasy Palm acc. balance is from Yves Rocher, lol! The mystery prize is quite nice - but I won't spoil the surprise ;)

  • Watch out for this. I ordered some shower gel and kiddie bath gel for £2.70 but they only took off £2.00 discount so charged me £2.90 p&p plus extra 70p. Phoned up and they sent me a cheque for 70p () because I insisted I didn't want it going on "my account" since I would not be keen on shopping with them if they did not honour the discount. They were adamant that they couldn't refund it back to my card though. When I banked the cheque today the cashier said it would have cost them more than 70p to write that cheque .

    I'll second chocoholic's comments.

I used them months back with a £10 discount code. The order confirmation I got showed it being taken off, but when I got the stuff the invoice had added it back on and they'd charged my card £10 more. There's whole thread on here somewhere with lots of us that had the same problem and had a nightmare getting our money back.

I spent well over a month calling with no answer, emailing with no reply and getting nowhere. Finally they sent me an email trying to sell me even more products in a sale. I saw red, forwarded it back to them telling them instead of trying to sell me more stuff they'd do better to concentrate on sorting out their overcharge and refunding my money failing which I'd issue a chargeback through my credit card company. Within 30 minutes I was called by a customer service rep and had the money credited back to my account. No apology for their appalling lack of customer care up to then though.

I swore I would never use them again and haven't. Make sure you keep all communications from them if you use any vouchers and only pay with a credit card. That way you'll have proof of the order confirmation with the deduction to issue a chargeback if you need to. Don't expect YR to rush to sort out the overcharge though

    blast you two were right!

Received my order yesterday and they'd only taken a £2 discount, plus overcharged me for one of my items!!!

I've sent an email, if I don't get a reply in a couple of days I shall ring them to complain!

well they emailed today saying they are going to refund me the money they owe me (requested it by cheque).

they wanted to put it in my personal account but I don't think I shall be purchasing from them again.

Well at least I'm getting the money I'm owed!
