Does anyone know where I can get toy soldiers like these?

Hi

My niece is looking at this range of baby items for her baby due early next year. She would also love some appliques to sew onto the sheets a friend is making and has asked if I could find her some (she lives in Australia). I have looked at John Lewis but they don't do them. She would also love one of the soldiers if only I knew where to begin looking.

The items are part of the Babiesrus range and having looked at other baby items they seem to be the only ones doing this one.

Does anyone have any ideas where I might be able to get anything like this.

Hi Kit1, The soldiers look quite simple - like a peg doll!

For applique, I don't think it would be too hard to put the soldier together (if you can sew that is.

As for the soldiers, do you have any Geman Christmas markets (or the like) where you live? They look like the toy wood soldiers that are sold on thes stalls. Also, you might even be able to find Christmas decorations that are similar.

It's funny that Toysrus have them displayed on the windowsill of the pictures, but don't sell them!

etc then I would print it out and use it as a pattern to make my own castle as the applique ones can be a bit thick for a baby quilt.
