Like most FHM comps you need 'points' to enter this comp. This one is telling me that I need 67 points to enter. You get points by 'interacting' with the site.

Sorry about that.I couldn't see any mention of points & thought they had ceased the requirement.Never mind, you soon get the points & they stay on .
  • You can use an autorefresh script on one of their pages to add points.

I use this one (It works at Safari at least and should work in any Java enabled Browser). Set it to autorefresh every few seconds and leave it running in the background, you should have points in no time.

Just beware that if you're on a limited broadband service then you'll eat into your download allowance using this method.

I must admit I was thinking the same and how does just refreshing the page earn you points on FHM?

By refreshing the page it should fool the system into thinking you are browsing the site & your points will accrue.I think :-)

This is how you can accumulate points:
    What exactly do points mean?
On FHM.com, you get points for interacting with the site. Browsing, commenting, publishing stories to Incoming, sending recommendations to friends, tagging articles to your favourites, anything.
The full points chart is here:
    • +200 points
For every story of yours we publish in Incoming.
    • +10 points
Any time one of your friends clicks on a story you send them.
    • +5 points
      Anytime you comment.
    • +2 points
      Anytime you rate a story.
    • +1 points
Read a story, watch a video, click the mouse frantically.
As you accumulate points, you will be able to enter all our competitions. The bigger the prize, the more points you’ll need. Don’t worry, it doesn’t take long to accumulate the necessary number.
Thanks to those that post the comps!!

Ah sorry, I didn't explain enough. Just paste it in to your address bar and press enter. It should bring up a dialog asking what page you want to refresh and the refresh frequency.

    Cheers Spanky Deluxe
It works fine in FF as well.Just tested it on FHM with a 20 sec reload
  • If you've got a fast internet you can whip it up to a couple of seconds - I set mine to 2 seconds a while ago. Mind you, my broadband connects at ~14 mbit (although BT Infinity due next week :D)
