Can't get refund in Nectar points

As you can't get Nectar vouchers in Sainsburys now, I had to ring up to redeem a load of points I had save. (Not too happy as this is an 0870 number, but persevered). :rolleyes:

I was then asked what I wanted to spend the points on and said I just wanted vouchers to spend anywhere, but was told they don't do this now. Wanted Eden Project in Cornwall - but asked what happened if weather too bad to visit? Told I could return the vouchers and get the points refunded on my card.

You can see what's coming, can't you? :huh:

Vouchers arrived (specially and only for Eden Project) - went to Cornwall - didn't get to Eden. Sent vouchers back to Nectar in July. No reply. Wrote again in September. No reply. No points added back to card. :mad:

Double mad - spent rest of points on vouchers for Debenhams. Arrived - and they were the old style vouchers that I can redeem anywhere. :wall:

Typical call centre and corporate botch ups. Dealing with these people is like trying to tell a monkey that 1+1=2, but the monkey insists that it is 3, and the monkey has authority over you.

Yes. I know - but what when they don't have the courtesy to reply?

I had a situation where i hadnt received some nectar points.I had to do a bit of chasing-up,but nectar did sort it out for me.I may be the exception to the rule,but i found them helpful.
