La Redoute codes, are they "safe"?

Hello, following the ASOS code my friend ordered with La Redoute, I wasn't sure if it was, for want of a better term "safe" to use them with that company or if they are litle or related to Littlewoods and likely to take the discount back and charge you a few montsh down the line.
Best wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card

I have found that with La Redoute they like to cancel your order if you get a good offer and use it to the max, eg £10 off £15 spend and you only spend £15. The first time I thought it was a fluke, the third time I realised and gave up.0
