Sorry to hear that, depressing at this time of year. However, in the towns near us all the shops are desperate for seasonal staff.

So sorry. Hopefuly things will start to improve. Its such a bu**er when you are "punished" for working to clear your debts.Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.
And when no hope was left inside on that starry starry night.

Really sorry to hear that. Pick yourself up again and get out there to those temp agencies. A job is a job is a job ... just gotta smile and get another one and, you never know, the next job might be soooooo fantastic that you'll never look back :-)
Good luck!
ps. I've been made redundant twice now by companies who have gone bankrupt so I know how it feels.0 -
Echo what other posters already said: a job is a job! Personally, I don't think one's credit rating is any absolute indication of "risk" - I have heard of instances where apparently "normal" employees steal lots of money. I mean, one example was someone who claimed to have a very sick child and parents. So crikey, would employers in the finance sector then do family background checks to see if an employee is a risk? Way too much, I say.
We support you! Hope something turns up quickly! I know the feeling of anxiety particularly where income is concerned. Let's hope on Monday you will get not one but several phone calls from agencies offering you work.
