What does Special Aptitude mean?

Need some quick help. In terms of an application form for a job, what does special aptitudes mean? I understand what aptitude means but special?

I think I am thinking too hard. Over complicating the question.

  • Give us the whole sentence. It might mean that you feel you are specially gifted or qualified in the area, maybe? Or have a natural bent for something?
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).

Cheers. That is what I thought. :D:D

But I seriously think they don't mean this.

    Ability, Skill.
They are probably asking if you have any related to the job in question.

Yep. But they put an experience box too which is filled. It feels like I am repeating myself on the application form.

Am I on the right track?

    eg. Job maybe politician.

Special aptitude : brilliant at communicating a lot of lies to the public..? Understanding and supportive to the public. Demonstrated during the 5 years - no hold barred period of the recession as an MP.

Obviously the above example is not what I am putting in my application.

Experience and aptitudes are not the same thing at all so it stands to reason they would need different boxes.

Maybe the fact that you had to ask that question on here means you don't have any special aptitudes. ;)

It's just a fancy way of asking what specific skills you have! Specific talents, things at which you're particularly good. :)
' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".
