Hello All,
Was wondering if anyone out there could help me. My little nephew is getting christened next month and im trying my hardest to think of what to get him, but really struggling. Is there anyone out there who could maybe give me some good idea or point me in the right direction for some good presents to get.
Thank you in advance

It would help to know how much you want to spend?
I have 3 boys who have received wide ranging gifts for their christenings including photo frames, albums, clothes, steiff bears, Tiffany silver teething rings, books, bibles to name a few. It's easier to get forgiveness than to ask permission0 -
Well im looking to spend upto around £300

How about one of those plates for all of the guests to sign? That way it is both practical and something for him to look back at in years to come.0

What about one of those lovely Money pots (Cintons sell them among others) You can get specifically "Christening" or different child patterns.
If they would appreciate a Bible, M & S do a lovely childs one or if not they do lovely compendium Fairy Story Books.
I think the 2 gifts together would be lovely!0 -

If they wouldn't, why are they having their child christened?
My suggestion would be a bible, because a christening is about being brought into the Christian faith. Or maybe a small Steiff bear as a keepsake but they are around £40 I think, you can get them in a different colour for each month so choose his birth month colour.

My family traditionally gives a pewter or silver beer stein engraved with his name. Looks nice for the baby, gets a fair bit of use from a man.0

This thread is nearly a year old! Think the child will be well Christened by now.0
