Congrats to Bookie - she looks gorgeous.

Luc - well done on the size 10's....all that gym work is paying off then.

Super busy day, gutted the living room/dining room and cleaned everything to within an inch of it's life, put the winter curtains up and got food sorted for tomorrow (halloween themed birthday party for my dad and early birthday party for DH) Just need to go finish the trifle and dish up the dinner, then it's an evening of wine and telly, cos I'm very old and boring.

I've grown up looking after cats/dogs/gerbils/rats/hamsters so I'm hoping I'm ready. I know she'll either try and hide or get in everything but that's ok, as long as its not dangerous she needs to explore her new home. Litter tray will be in the bathroom as the door's always open (she's litter-trained already) and I'll be getting her a blanket thing from a charity shop, washing it and letting her have that as her bed/den/whatever she wants to do. Am looking at pet insurance for her too. She's also used to dogs so I can take her home for Christmas and she'll be OK with Milly....it's Milly being OK with her that's a worry lol
