Well I've picked mine up. I'm very happy for the money!
The bowls that come with the plates are more like slightly deep plates so I would def get the pasta set too if you like soup etc.
The plates also seem to be slightly different sizes as they don't pile up quite right but I'm not sure.
Anyway, I'm happy so thanks op!If my words are missing letters then please excuse me....my keyboard is a tad dodgy!!0 -
:jThanks just been to fetch mine, Lisaberry they are slightly off white but still well worth the money0

I unpacked all of mine and so hubby (being the faffer he is) had the boxes in the recycle bin before I had chance to blink.
Now I have noticed one of the plates has a chip... What should I do?
If I go down with just the offending plate will they swap it for a new one?If my words are missing letters then please excuse me....my keyboard is a tad dodgy!!0 -
You'll have to take the whole set back I'm afraid and get a refund or an exchange.
They won't have spare plates lying around. If they take one out of another set, they can't sell that set0 -

I knew they wouldn't have spares but wondered if they might give me a new plate and 'write off' the box that one came from rather than mine iykwim. It all works out the same.If my words are missing letters then please excuse me....my keyboard is a tad dodgy!!0 -
Thanks OP. Just reserved some. Having read about some chipped plates - I may ask to view them first to check em.
There are other dinner services available, which are reduced:

If the boxes are ripped (very efficient hubby!)- you could try ordering a new set, swap over the chipped plate then take the new box back for a refund. Highlight the chipped plate (so no-one else has to contend with a chipped plate )-then you could say you don't want a replacement coz you are not satisfied with the quality- or the colour? Another MSE'er said it was a bit "off white". I'm not an expert -these are just a couple of thoughts ???!!!;):hello: SHARING THE LOVE (OF A BARGAIN) x0 -

Sounds like a plan! I have to go to Argos tomorrow anyway to pick up a nerf gun I couldn't get at Sainsburys so I'll just add another set on!
