Tesco Clubcard vouchers for Goldsmiths deals - question?

I believe they usually have a £200 minimum spend, but that they've temporarily waived it, so you could buy anything up to £80 or put cash towards something dearer.0

I'd rather it was 4 x £200 so thinking I'd be best to change the Tesco vouchers in 4 lots - the challenge will be that none of the combinations will come to a straight £50!
Thanks for your post scottishminnie, I was just looking at a lovely watch on Goldsmiths site. I didn't know you could convert tesco vouchers at Goldsmiths. :j :j:j0 -
Can someone confirm that they have used say restaurant deal vouchers for goldsmiths as it says on tesco site can be used for any that isn't buy in full and this way you would have smaller denominations. Its just I think I remember some posts mentioning they were specific to goldsmiths but then I am getting old and forgetful. Do people think they are a good use of vouchers never been to goldsmiths before and I feel you have to have a look rather than buy online for jewellery etc0

I exchanged £200 for £800 worth of Goldsmith's vouchers a couple of years back. Took them into the Braehead branch and put them towards a TAG for hubby. The staff couldn't have been more helpful - I was worried they would look down their noses at vouchers but not so, in fact they had a target for Tesco vouchers so welcomed us with open arms. I was very impressed with the store in general and would definitely go back. They also had the widest selection of all the Goldmsiths stores I had seen.
Just a thought Gerry ( and ignore me if you are well aware of this!) - you need to convert the vouchers first, you can't just take the Tesco clubcard vouchers into the store0 -
You can now download an order form and send it off to Goldsmiths with the vouchers. I ordered a watch, sent the letter off on Wednesday, had a call from them yesterday and the watch was delivered this morning. No postage charge either. really useful if you don't live near a store.0

My Brother wants a watch for £300 from Goldsmiths for a combined Xmas and 30th birthday gift, I thought I was being clever buying £300 worth from eBay, but I hadn't researched enough and realised that you have to have ID to match the name on vouchers, is this correct? Also I hadn't noticed that the £300 Goldsmith vouchers are in 2 names, will this be a problem too? (£100 with one name & £200 with different name) I exchange my tesco vouchers for cineworld and never had a problem passing them onto my parents or relatives and thought this would be the same using in Goldsmith.
Any advise?0 -

Some Goldsmith stores want to see ID and some insist on photo ID, but people have used other stores and were not asked for any ID at all.
With the two different names I would just go in with someone else and if they say anything just say some of them are mine and the others are my sisters etc. since this is a joint present.0 -
To go back to the opening question - I have just ordered £550 of Goldsmiths vouchers and they have arrived as one £500 token and a couple of smaller ones, so if you want smaller denominations you might be better off making separate orders. Mine are all going towards one item, so i'll be spending them all at once anyway.0

Does anyone know how long they've suspended the minimum spend for? I'm hoping to get a few Lovelinks charms but haven';t ordered my vouchers yet.
Thanks!0
