Help, just had a 6yr old's birthday and Christmas is coming.

mainly AA and AAA.
Any ideas please?
Thank you

Buy rechargeables, I get mine from maplins when on special offer.
ALDI/LIDL also sell them at good prices sometimes, They have an mAh rating the higher the better.
Sometimes the really high capacity ones are slightly larger than standard AAA/AA batteries though.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

In the long run rechargeables are much cheaper though.

Definitely rechargeables as they will be more cost effective. And I also second Coopdivi's choice of 7dayshop; I have a few of their batteries here and also have a 7dayshop charger. 2500mAh batteries is also a good choice as they should last longer.
Depending on usage conditions of the batteries 300 - 1000 charge/discharge cycles can be expected.
The batteries pointed out by Coopdivi are memory free, therefore you shouldn't have to worry to much about leaving them in the charger to long. Still, make sure you follow the instructions for both the batteries and charger, that way they will hopefully last longer.0
