Clothes you always reach for.....

Hi, I'm wondering what casual outfits you have that you wear time and time again, and that seem to go with everything. I'm looking for new ideas for my wardrobe.
A couple of mine are - jeans with bronze ballerina pumps, and an a-line denim skirt with brown flattish knee length boots
What clothes do you have that you reach for time and time again, and that would be good staples for anyone's wardrobe?

Well I doubt I'm iNspiration for new outfit ideas, but my default outfit this year has been based around a 20 quid pair of denim jeggings I bought in Next earlier in the year. Paired with a pair of soft cream pumps and assorted cover-the-bum tops depending on what I'm doing, I've certainly had my moneysworth from them :T0

Black denim jeans are my fall back item. The top depends on how cold I'm feeling. Usually teamed with boots this time of the year
Yes - not very inspirational either I'm afraid.0 -
I have an absolutely fabulous pair of high-heeled, lace-front, knee-high brown suede boots.
I wear them over and over again in the autumn and winter, and am gutted I didn't buy the same ones in black when I had the chance!0 -
Denim dress, assorted coloured/woollen (if its cold!) tights. Have worn it to death! Bit different from wearing jeans but still comfy casual/(can be) smart denim.
Also have a great variety of plain coloured jersey dresses, can be layered up with different t-shirts underneath and leggings.0 -
I have one pair of Top Shop jeans that always seem to look right whatever the occasion, I didnt even buy them they were given to me;)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

I don't really tend to wear any of my clothes often enough to have an outfit i wear over and over..
i do have a few pairs of heels which are super comfy, and go with everything, which i tend to wear if i need a little "lift" etc..0 -
I have an arsenal of fitted long camisoles/mini dresses/LS tops in various muted pastels and dark colours that I layer together over thick tights or leggings. Worn with uggs or mid-calf black leather boots, plus a black leather biker jacket with some hoodie/cardigan and snood.
Current favourite is black leggings, fitted long black camisole and navy grandad top with uggs, grey hoodie, leather jacket and black snood.
The fitted bottom layer stream lines all the bumps and adds warmth, leather jacket dresses up the comfy hoodie and the snood and uggs keep me warm
Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0
