Buying iMac - best deals?

I'm hoping to buy an iMac before the end of November and I've had a bit of a look around online - just wondering if anyone knows of any really good deals? It will be for use with Logic Pro 7 mainly so I would like something fairly high-end.

I'm after an iMac too. The one that I'm after is the newer model with the i5 processor. It seems that every store I go to, the price is the same - £1649. Is this a fixed price, set by Apple?? I am going to haggle with them when I get round to getting it, but I'd like to know is there is a price to be aiming for - if there is one!!0

I am also looking for an iMac, but probably the cheaper version - £850. My question is what do I need to make it run windows apps - eg for office and gaming? According to the apple website you can dual boot, but in the shop they told me you had to download software and even then not sure if it its truly running windows. Any advice?0

mac prices are only lower if you are a student or you can get a student/school pupil to buy one (you can pay). Students get 20% off and about 1/2 price 3 year applecare warranty.
Apple don't "do" sales. They took £81 off the prices last Friday for one day only and that happens AFAIK once a year! So last Friday for 24 hours they were cheaper than amazon etc.0
