Need a birthday cake made in Manchester

Hello

My best friend turns 30 next saturday (6 Nov) and we are going for a meal. us girlies want to club to gether to get a cake made for her. The budget will be about £30-£40 quid.
Ideally we want a nice personalised one with her name on, maybe a little figure of a gym bunny (she's gym obsessed)

The meal is happening lunchtime in Altrincham but I live in Middleton so bakeries in either would do. Although North Mcr would be better as I can go in and have a look before hand etc.

Anyone got any ideas, or know of anyone in the area that makes them? I'm sure there's loads but finding something in our budget is proving difficult.

  • I used this Liverpool based cake maker last year for a customised cake for my daughter's eighteenth birthday. Although she is in Liverpool, she can deliver to other areas in the North West.

I chose the 18th cake pictured half way down this page http://www.cakesbyemily.co.uk/Picture-Gallery.html but she customised it as my daughter is mad about Snow White. I think delivery was about £5 - I'm in St. Helens. Cake prices vary according to size and whether you want sponge or fruit.

She delivered it to my home on the morning of the party, and we agreed an approximate time beforehand. As she delivers herself, there is no third party involved.

Whether you choose her or not, enjoy your friend's birthday :)
  • Hiya,

I know a woman who is setting up her own business in Didsbury. I am a fan of hers on Facebook & won a competition for some of her cakes, I'm not a personal friend...

Might be a bit out of your way, but hope this helps!
