Once again, I feel shamed to see people of your age having the sense to take the actions you have done. I just wish I had had your sense at your age!RosieTiger - Highest £242,000 Feb 2004

Just thought I'd post to say we've done it! As of today we owe £1. This is such a great feeling :-)

Good luck to everyone else and I'm sure we'll be back on here when we move and start a new mortgage!

Just caught up PB (although it didn't take long!!). I must admit when I started reading it I thought I'd have a year's worth of entries to plough through but was pleasantly surprised to be fast forwarded to the now witrh everything literally done and dusted!!
Can I ask what you have done in the past year to achieve your MF goal?! Was it just a case of "more of the same" from what you said in post 1?
Congratulations on clearing the mortgage and here's to a safe and sound delivery VERY VERY soon hopefully!!
All the best and please continue to keep us posted on developments.
Cheers
