HELP I think I have made a booboo....

Hello I have been Br for nearly three months now

I had a HBOS current account which had an online facility.

This morning out of curiosity (The one that killed the cat) I logged into said account.

I somehow managed to access my old account it appears to still be active

I then realised perhaps I was in the middle of committing a bankruptcy offence by having a look at this old account

The account overdraft was included in my BR petition

Does anyone know if I am in big trouble if HBOS inform my Trustee?

I did not do anything per se I logged on only DOH!!!

    Dont worry about this.

I did the same thing with my Abbey bank account (overdraft incl in BR) as I thought it would be closed almost immediately after BR and was really logging in to check if that had happened. It was eventually closed to online access but that wasnt until ablout 6 months in!! And no, I had no repercussions from doing it.

That's exactly what I was doing

Thank you both for swift replies

I did not believe I would be able to gain access I was just checking

Strangely enough they have added the interest to the OD for Sept. and Oct.

    Hi,

I have also logged into mine (I do it a few time a week), Good Job I do as Credit Expert had taken out payments after I had cancelled the account. I promptly called them and told them I was Bankrupt and they had taken the Money illegally they then refunded. AOL also refused to listen to my cancellation request and are also refusing to refund my money. I will probally have to pay the OR for that.

    hi crumbling

You should ring your OR about this. I too had tax credits paid into an account post BR, the account wasnt frozen at the time but I knew I couldnt use it. I rang the OR and explained and he gave me permission to go and withdraw it from the account which I did.

Perhaps your OR can speak to the bank so they can release it to you?
