Harrasment After Bankruptcy Important

Hi all,
Just wanted to post this to help anyone else who has or is thinking of going bankrupt.
Just wanted to start by saying that I did know myself that all debts are wiped regardless of what any creditor or creditors agents or solicitors say after bankruptcy. but as I am not an expert in law people claiming to be solicitors can install doubts.
I have been recieving calls directly from the Halifax regarding my 2 bankaccounts which were overdrawn by £15 and £30 on the day of bankruptcy. Now once I told the Halifax (loans) I was bankrupt they made my bank account enquiry only which proves that I told them I was bankrupt. Now what happened is once they made my account enquiry only they removed my autherised overdraft of up to £500 pound for which they charged £1 a day (which i think is very reseonable compared to some of them payday people). They then uped the account charges to the unauterised amount of £5 a day.
So the charges started racking up and are not at nearly £400 on the both accounts.
I have written to the halifax and have Rang them 3 times and each time told them my details and gave them the ORs contact number Court Details etc...
Well I have still been recieving calls from them and now they have sold the debt onto a DC claiming to be a solitors (first call) and the call I got this morning did put the frightners on me a little.
They claimed that because the charges were added after the bankruptcy and I did not inform the bank account department (i also had loans with the Halifax whom I told straight away) at the same time as the loans department then we would be liable for them charges. He also said that they were solicitors (Going by the name of first call) and that they knew the law inside out and they were perfectly within there rights to chase the debts. (which it turns out they are until I write to them personally and then they may be breaking a law but they certainly would be wasting thier time).
So I rang the OR and I have a very proffesional sounding lady who deals with our accounts and she jsut told me that they can continue to contact us but WE DO NOT OWE ANY MONEY TO ANYONE IN WHATEVER FORM THAT WAS DUE TO ANY DEBT THAT WAS INCURRED BEFORE OUR BANKRUPTCY DATE. (small exceptions which they tell you about when you go bankrupt Student loans etc..). She told me that if it bothers me then they will write to the company whom the debt has been sold on to and tell them. Apparently this can go on forever as the debts can still be sold on and on and on. She told me they are just wasting thier time and money:rotfl::rotfl: and if they ever did take us to court the judge would not be happy with them and they would have just wasted lots of money.
I hope this helps anyone who is in this situation or may be in the future.;)
Today was the first day they made me angry since I went bankrupt. I think I will get my little girl to answer the phone from now on she loves to chat about nothing and the only person other than DC's who ring our home phone is her nanny.

Some good tips here - thank you...
But I am surprised you say that £1 per day is "reasonable"...that's 100% interest per annum (jumping to 500% PA)...unless my maths is completely off
B*****y Sharks...nice to know you don't have to pay it though

I think that if you go 0.08 pence overdrawn like that couple on the telly and you realise 3 days later they only charge you £3 so you only have to pay back £3.08 whereas that couple on the news last night was charged £20 per day for being overdrawn and now owe £1000+ for being 0.08p overdrawn. Also some other banks would charge you £25+ instantly for being overdrawn for a letter to let you know.
Dont get me wrong I cant stand the Halifax as you probally have realised from my post above. But credit where credits due (no pun intended)
