Mattress Topper or New Mattress?

I've had my kingsize bed for about 2 years now, and the mattress is in still in good condition but the firmness of it is starting to bother me. I like the kind of beds that you sink into slightly.
Is it worth just buying a topper or am I just as well buying a new mattress?

If the mattress is still in good condition, then I would get a topper until your mattress needs replacing.0 -
Hi we bought a good mattress and had it about 18 months, but neither Hubby or me sleeping very well. We bought a double topper off ebay some time ago and it is really comfortable, it was about £60. We went for a thicker one.0

If it's memory foam then you should keep it between 2" and 2.5" deep.0
