it's about ''assets''...
The OR will need to prove your house is one of your partner's assets.

Why don't you work out his share of the costs: hie proportion of the food his fair share of the electric, internet, TV etc. Then you can show that he hasn't contributed to the mortgage. Even if he has made a contribution I would argue that he is contributing to the interest on the mortgage first rather than capital repayment.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
