John Lewis Pricematch question...

Hi there...

I recently have seen John Lewis (JL) pricematch and have 5 years free warranty on TV's....

I am after the latest Samsung 26" HD TV 'LE26R74BDX'. It is £729 on JL but £599 on empiredirect and £579 on http://www.hispek.com/ as I here JL pricematch these two as they have proper shops.

My real question is as none of these are local (I live in South West, Exeter), (I think my closest JL is an hour away.) Am I still able to get the pricematch?

im pretty sure you have to go instore at JL to get pricematches as thats what they told me when i spoke to them....and the price match has to be in a store within the vicinity of JL not on their online prices.

just had a price match with JL solihull birmingham

they PM empire direct also at solihull for panasonic 42"plasma.

i ordered mine over the phone.

i live 1 hour away from my nearest JL.

do a search for your nearest empire direct

They dont match web sites and only match stores with available stock on the day, they do give long warante tho!!!

They tend to say pricematch has to be a non discounted 'in-store' price. AV forums is best for this advice though.

On an aside, I have this TV, and the 32" version - they are superb.
