Tyler Mortgage Managment - any good?

First time buyer here, went to a FTB show on the weekend and saw an independant mortgage broker/advisor.
Seems ok but just wonder if they are any good?
I know Martin has said to go to independant mortgage advisors rather then the banks so I think it's a good step but you know don't know really.
