That was sooooo funny!
Loved the henhouse... flying foxes = PMSL!!!
Sue is just too funny for words - i'd have eaten that nasty looking green avocado fish mould thingy if it meant her company for dinner
I wonder if my Mum has all her old 70's dinner party style moulds... I also remember she had glass avocado dishes, and hand sized shells to serve starters on
She was a wicked dinner party hostess and in the morning, I would sneak down and sup up all the wine left in glases
and any desserts that were left over :rotfl:
She did those.... in Sue's words "IBS inducing orange slices in grand marnier" :rotfl::rotfl:
I was laughing all the way thru it... wish it was on daily
Putting these winter preps here so I don't forget!

Loved it.
Especially when the Self Sufficiency book by Seymour appeared - I piscked up a copy in a charity shop about a year ago. It's a truly inspirational book. Other half told me to buy another copy should I ever see one, as one copy is likely to get battered through use. (I hope so!)0 -
Looking forward to watching this with DH when he's home :T
We appear to have 2 threads on this subject, so I'll merge them together

yes, it was the last episode last week, think it was only 3 episodes, i loved it too, watched Miranda then Giles & Sue & on tuesday Kirsties Homemade Home on C4 then Turn Back the High Street on BBC1, i'm such a telly addict!'there goes an old transexual, last seen heading south,
her friends call her Bernie but her real name is Ralph'
Felicia, Priscilla Queen of the Desert0 -
I enjoyed it too. Wish they would do another series but with ordinary people taking on a small holding. It would be great to see how they get on0

I'm hoping for a Christmas special of Giles and Sue, oh and Kirstie too as her homemade Christmas programme was fab last year!
Angel Jenny :A0 -
I loved the bit when Sue squirted goats milk straight into her mouth.
So wrong but so right!0 -
I absolutely loved this, watched a couple of episodes twice cause I'd missed some of the jokes! They are really funny together, not much on TV these days can properly double me over with laughter.

I want to watch those other ones they did, 'Giles and Sue eat the ....(70's etc)'0
