Thanks Elfen, good to be back and knuckling down to some serious money saving!

With *it* now being less than 2 months away, time to plan and get organised! And take advantage of £5 free from Debenhams - how generous of them! Anyone spent (or know what to buy) it yet?!

Hello! Lovely to see you! How's things? x

Hey Squizz, good to see you too!

Things are not too bad at the moment. Money's tight as always, but am pleased to report sloe gin is brewing nicely! Got recipe for blackberry and apple jelly, so must try that fairly soon.

How's your home produce come along?!

Hi Billie, great to meet you!

Yes, sig is now updated. It was embarassingly full of 2009 challenges and my last no spend day challenge was from December! Whoops! So time to get back to it, get on track and sort it out!

I'll be popping in and out of here fairly regularly, but it's such a great community on here and it now feels right to get back in touch!

    Chat soon no doubt!

Yum sounds nice! Still very jealous you have sloes :D

We have loads of jam and chutney in the cupboards.. whitecurrant jelly, blackcurrant jam, raspberry jam, lots and lots of green tomato chutney!

Now Squizz is that because you had tomatoes that didn't ripen, or were they green on purpose!

DH had tomatoes that just wouldn't ripen, so has also turned them into chutney - rather vinegary if you ask me, but give it time to mature I suppose! All your jams and jellies sound great though!

Sloe wise - Suffolk has had a really good crop this year, so next September/October take a trip to us! Famous last words of course!

They didn't ripen - I picked the last few at the weekend (still to be turned into chutney).

Ooh a foraging trip sounds fun!

Lol Billie - a virtual jam shop :D
