MBNA - don't you just love them!

After months of stress with my MBNA credit card account (phone calls, letters, threats) they actually accepted my offer of payment and interest is now frozen.
So imagine my amusement today when they sent me a letter saying how much better I would find life if I were to solve my financial problems with a loan!

In your dreams MBNA, there is no way I am going to borrow more money from you again! :money:

MBNA do appear to have been a bit quiet over the last month or so, judging by the number of threads about them.
I wrote to them, three weeks ago, asking them to freeze interest etc. Heard nothing, until yesterday when they sent me a letter stating that my account was continuing to go into arrears (charges:mad: ) and that it was about time I 'took ownership' of the account - strange phrase and I'm not sure what they mean) Anyway, they say I MUST pay £91 into the account by 25th October - surprisingly no threats of DCAs.
My Bankruptcy hearing is on 26th October - CAB say I can just ignore the letter - any thoughts please?
By the way - the only other communication I have received from them, in the last month, was also a loan offer.

Surely they mean debt collectors - unless they have obtained a CCJ.

My OH was in shock the other day he actually spoke to a nice employee at MBNA who was really reasonable and helpful. He had to have a long sit down after he got off the phone ;)

Maybe they read the boards here lol
