help me choose from the following

ok i have decided i want to go for a phillips Tv after seeing the quality for myself, would love the 32PW9509 but its outta my price range

i have narrowed it down to the following:

Philips 32PW9309C
32PW9308
36PW8719C

i know the last is 36"s but is there any other difference's as in technical not to worried about looks between them?

  • Hi Mate

I've got this model - absolutely superb - pic quality is amazing.

I paid around £650 just before xmas - digital-point.co.uk I think. Arrived in 2 days.

The 9308 I believe is identical technology just an older model.

If you live anywhere near Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent you are more than welcome to have a look at it up and running

You didn't tell us you had such a high budget!!

Why not wait a month or 2 - you'll soon get plasma for not much more, I reckon.

otherwise, as I said before 9308 we'd have gone for, a year ago - ended up with 6517, still a great set!

  • wait two months for a plasma?

well think ill go for the 32" phillips, so it is literally only cosmetic changes, surely there must be more between then 9308 and 9309?
  • Like I said before I cannot find fault in my 9309. Pic quality is absolutely crystal clear. The remote has a demo function whereby you can split the screen and compare pixelplus to non pixel plus - try it and be amazed !!

When i said if you live near Bluewater I meant you can come see it up and running at my house as I live 5 mins away

Nice one. Make sure you get a mate around to lift it onto the stand its BL***Y heavy !! You have been warned.

My surround has a tuner built in (and HDD etc !!) BUT the TV has audio out L & R (Phonos's) so should be a piece of cake connecting up.

Let me know what you think of her once shes up and running

  • coming monday then the stand is coming tuesday for some reason lol

either way i have a 5.1 surround sound kit ready to be hooked up, wasnt quite sure how it would be connected to that, im guessing the TV wont have an optical out so id have to use a scart cable?

will deff let you know what i think, but instore these are by the far the vest tele's
