    hi everyone

I'm back don't despair for I am here ..........................hehehe

think I have a handle on the food bank stuff, I'm organised the spreadsheets and filed reports with one of our partners so thats something all up to date, I've emailed the list of food deliveries going out tomorrow, we have 55 food provision parcels going out tomorrow.  so my job tomorrow is to organise drivers and make sure the food I've ordered it collected on time even set a reminder on the amazon echo to remind me (new toy, easter pressie from MIL).  Also had to set up a new fb as the preious one was run by those voulunteers who left and refused to give us the password so I set up a new one.  all the notes I have taken down in my pad of paper have been typed up and saved to my pen drive and any other jobs on my pad have been ticked off and dealt with.  Go me

all this whilst childminding, to be fair he's took it in his stride bless him, he was even mimicking me by sitting at the table with a toy phone and scribbling on a bit of paper.

All in the thick of this I've been dealing with Abbie's stomach issues which have rised again, thankfully she's not being sick this time but every time she ate something she was hit with crippling stomach pains.  we were on day 8 yesterday so had to phone NHS 24 who advised we phone the doctor and get her tested for coeliac disease as he said all her systems and past issues point to this.  What is it with my kids and stomach issues??????  So took her out to Tesco and got gluten free food, oh my it's quite expensive got a wee shock £3.40 for a wee Danish sized loaf. So today has been her first day on gluten free diet and the stomach cramps have eased off.  She has a doctors appointment for 10am tomorrow to get bloods as the doctors weren't impressed she wasn't tested for this to begin with so I need to take Abbie to the doctor at 10am drop her off then nip round to the centre.  No doubt I'll be absolutely shattered tomorrow.

Our new mattress came on monday.........omg it's so comfy woke up this morning pain free what a strange feeling.  However means my emergency fund took a hit as its sitting at £420 but I'm hoping to have this up to £600 by the end of the week.  I will get it back to the £1000 mark .  Totally worth it tho as hubby's bad back has improved greatly too since Monday night.  So glad I had the money to buy it outright plus I went through the cash back site of course lol xx

I have £229.85 in the holiday fund hoping this will be at £400 mark as I'm due my last payment from college on Friday.

It's a bank holiday on Friday but I normally work them but I've decided I'm taking it off so I cam chill out with the family and catch up on my housework that been neglected because of work and food bank stuff

Sorry to hear about your daughters stomach issues . I have been GF for about 10 years now after suffering with stomach issues . You can find bargains in supermarkets for GF stuff, especially Mr M and Lidl.

Thank you for sorting my order out .

Have you slept at all with everything you've been doing? 😂
I'm gluten free too. Lidl now offer a small range and it's a lot cheaper than some of the bigger supermarkets. It's still ridiculously priced though!

That holiday fund has shot up hugely and a good night's sleep is worth any money!

    morning

I have the day off work woo hoo and hopefully today is quiet regarding food provisions although I have arranged for one to be delivered for tomorrow already this morning

I have £478.76 in my holiday account woo hoo, I have £25 winging its way from one survey account and I have £23.84 in my PA account and £27.35 pending so that's a big chunk to add to it plus I have just under £50 commission sitting in my Avon account thanks to everyone who ordered from me online...........thanks guys much appreciated.  so thats £106 I haven't had to find so once it hits the bank it'll be getting chucked in the holiday fund.  Would have been more but i decided to wipe out everything that was on my halifax and very account and I also paid off hubby's HSBC card which had a small balance of £50 on it, this was what was left when he did a balance transfer so I've cleared it so he needs to close that.  Next month will be better.  Still quite chuffed with what I've put away so far.

Hubby has gave me this weeks money in cash but post office is closed today, wonder if I can put it in tomorrow??? will find out lol

I've bought my holiday trainers and I have KK's so only hubby's and xand and thats our footwear sorted.  Keeping an eye on my very account as they've had some fab bargains recently in their sales so I have a few things on my wishlist for the boys.  I like to get them new tracksuits and trainers for going on holiday, don't know why but I love seeing them in brand new stuff for holidays.  Is that just me???

Todays plans is take abbie to Lidl's to see their gluten free range and might pop into Morrisons as well to get abbie some more stuff, day 3 of gluten free diet and her stomach pain has eased off completely and she managed to go into work yesterday.   Her work have been great asked her how she was and what they could do to support her and asked loads of questions about her anxiety and again asked how they can support her.  She's very lucky to have such understanding employers.

Need to catch up on all my housework which has been neglected since I started helping with the food provision so that will get done.  I want to get a work out in as it's been two days since I done one.  Weigh in day tomorrow, lost 4lbs last weeks hoping for anything tbh but I feel so much less bloated since i began eating healthy again.

And I'll obviously be keeping an eye on any referrals that come in for today for food provision.

Right off to get ready I've waffled enough, hope you all have a lovely bank holiday

Hope you get Abbie’s stomach issues sorted and the gluten free food helps. When are you hoping to go on holiday? You’re doing really well with all the payments and savings.

Your holiday fund is coming on really well . GF cornflakes in Mr M today 70p a bargain.

Avon stuff turned up today, quick delivery, thanks for sorting. Sounds like the food bank is keeping you very busy. I have been delivering food parcels to the over 60s , have had many doorstep conversations this week.
