Roll on school holidays going back as this uniform shopping for teenagers is expensive

Day started off bad playgroup had to be cancelled at the last minute due to no one from the community centre getting in touch with us to say so so I had to stand about with 5 kids hoping that everyone got the messages I sent

So came home my brother visited with my niece so cue wrestling for about a hour which let me get my ironing done :D then we had lunch then headed out to the shops seeing as I needed to get my Abbie her uniform

Went into new look who had nothing in stock  but managed to get her two pairs of trousers for £7.99 each plus new bras for her as well £9.99 then nipped to tesco got her 6 shirts for £15 ended up buying Kk a pair of trainers in the next size up reduced from £12 to £4 :T a pair of paw patrol pyjamas £7 butter £2 diluting juice £2 bubbles £1.50 :rotfl: a bubble machine £5 and other stuff for school like pencil cases pencils rubbers etc, in the end I ended up spending £61 in tesco  not taking them in their again

Then to top my day off my mindee seems to be regressing backwards in regards to the toilet as he's nearly 4 and has started wetting himself regardless of how many times I take him to the toilet.........just before pick up time he decided to use my couch as a toilet  right down the middle of my couch  and all over my carpet, to say I was !!!!ed off was an understatement and all the parent said was....he ain't getting his tablet tonight  hmmmmm bet he got it as its like his pacifier

On a positive note I've sent £3.03 towards the Argos account, tax credits are due in so I reckon I can make a largish payment towards it tomorrow :j we shall see xx itching to get this under the £200 mark pretty sharpish seems I've been stuck in the £200's for a while but I know it's not xx

Nooooooo. I work in a school and I have 6 weeks off too. It's going very quick though.

Well done on getting the Argos card down. It will be gone before you know it.

I remember having to buy school uniforms and I found the older they got the more expensive school clothes they wanted.

You are doing so well, keep it up. :T

  • Wow I don't go back until the 1st of September so I shouldn't moan really.

I do actually feel for parents that have children at home for such a long time. Children cost a fortune. It makes me wish I had 7 of them  (not)

You're right about how quick it goes though.
