We were free into the water park at La Pineda too but would have eaten there and we paid entrance into a spa for DH and I so we did go out a few days but apart from the day at Portaventura we had all our meals/alcohol at the hotel. That wasn't a conscious thing, just handier with the kids!
I'm going to buy my tickets for portaventura before we leave as it's cheaper

We got a huge discount on the ticket prices through buying packets of Chuppa Chupps in the supermarket over there and then someone gave us a ticket when they were leaving the park. Pure luck!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

We didn't get everything done in one day bit we were wrecked after it & there was enough for us to do between our own hotel, beach and the water park we got free entry into. There is a huge water park beside portaventura so it might be nice to go there tooTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
