HSBC Remortgage

Hi
I have a mortgage of around 26k property worth about 90-95k.
The HSBC base rate tracker seems to be about the best going (low current rate and very low fees)
I'm Looking to borrow more on top to do up the property, new kitchen bathroom etc approx 50k total mortgage. Am i right in thinking i'd still get the 1.69% +base rate tracker with HSBC?
How long would it roughly take to go through?
cheers
Ps mortgage not with HSBC at present

(Reads as already £26k mortgage moving to HSBC, extra £24k to renovate...)
HSBC are the pickier end of Lenders, so if you've only just cleared your credit cards (looking at your signature) you might want to thoroughly examine all your credit history to make sure nothing untoward is still sitting there.Act in haste, repent at leisure.

yes about 24k, although could adjust up or down a few grand.
My credit history is good, no missed payments at all in last few years and no debt left on file (only mortgage)
If I was to get a mortgage in princible with HSBC what sort of time scale for funds to go through? would there be fees for valuation of my property0 -
