unsecuredloans.net

Hi everyone,

well I have been reading the reviews on here about unsecuredloans.net after paying them a fee for £60 last week. I have still not had my funds, but they keep trying to sell me a loan where I need a guarantor! 3 x times I have told them this isnt what I applied for and they have assured me this was a 2nd option. Now I can stop this payment through my bank as I only made it on friday. What should I do? Has anyone had a succesful loan application completed within 3 to 5 working days, with the rates that you where originally quoted? Help, I really dont know what to do. Do I hold tight and hope for the best, or pull out???

No point holding tight, and you can't pull out.

You've been scammed like thousands before you. It's a price you pay for not researching the company first unfortunately.

Follow their complaints procedure inthe Terms and Condidtions to request a refund. It may take a while and they may well retain £5 for fun but you can get most of your money back eventually.

    EDIT:
Could you point out which reviews on here you were looking at which made you decide to approach them? I will be staggered if you found anyone on MSE recommending them.

I suspect they will come back with various options, first you have heard where they want a guarantor, second they offer you a loan for a fraction of what you wanted to borrow, third the loan is at an APR that is close to criminal, or fourth they so nothing doing and stop contacting you and pocket the £60.

They did tell you that they are a brocker not a lender and will simply pass your details on to lots of other lenders didn't they?

I suspect as you have turned to them that you credit history is poor. This lot will not help. Check their T&Cs and start reclaimg the £60 (minus the £5 they get to keep).

    :D
