Taking the plunge

Opps I have neglected this diary for a few weeks now!
But I am back and promise to update a bit more regularly.

This month hasnt been too bad money wise, after paying my mum back £110 at the end of last month I had to borrow £20 back this month as I needed a part for my car but that is hardly anything compared to what I usually have to borrow! My OH has helped out quite a lot this month - although no more than he should do anyway!
Now owe my mum £180, she originally said she needed it all back on payday this month but has now said I can give her £100 this month and £80 next month so that helps a lot.

Last car loan payment on Thursday woohoo!! After three years I cannot wait to get rid of this! As its Christmas I wont really see the benefits of not having that until Januarys payday but I am so glad to be done with it!

Its payday on Thursday and am hoping I can be better with my money this month but it is OH 30th birthday on 1st December. I still havent got his present as I have no idea what to get him! I also need ideas of what I can do for him to celebrate that will be special and show I have put a lot of effort in but that doesnt cost a lot! Can anybody help with ideas?? (Party is out of the question!)
