New xbox 360 plus Kinect.....Any deals?

Hi all,

My son has asked for the new 360 and kinect from santa,

I would prefer to buy the 250gb as it seems better value and although he isnt online at the moment he might well be in the very near future,

The best price i have seen for the bundle is 299.99

My local game are still taking pre-orders and i noticed in their window yesterday that they had a sign which said you get 20% extra on your trade ins when you pre-order Kinect so im trying to find a better offer plus i dont know how much they would give for a 20gb xbox 360 anyway

Anyone seen any good deals?

I know Sainsbury's had 20% off sale on Consoles last year - they might have another one this year perhaps ?

Kinect won't be released until the 10th of November. Wouldn't it be better to wait till then as Game are one of the few companies who have priced it as part of a bundle? Prices are bound to drop once there's a bit of competition.

I hope those employees that gave advance knowledge of the toysale give some advance warning of a console sale on Xbox 360's as so far the main sales seem to be on PS3 and even on sale they seem above the impulse buy price level and so therefore are something you have to be sure you want before you buy it - even if it is as mainly as a Blu Ray player.

The new quieter Xbox with built-in wireless appeals more due to the general greater availability of games and lower game cost than Wii or PS3 on average.

Soi I hope we get some warning so the ol' Nectar points can get some use.
