Cuisinart Soup Maker - £99.99

Options
Just bought from the Aberdeen Argos store. John Lewis and Lakeland price for this is £140.00.
Argos advertise it as a Waring Soup Maker, but on viewing the item Customer Services advised it was a different make and was I happy with it being Cuisinart??
Argos code 423/5338 - http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4235338/Trail/searchtext%3ESOUP+MAKER.htm

Best to do a Customer View first just to ensure it is the Cuisinart make you are being offered.

I also used some Argos Vouchers and got mine for £89.99 :T

Am I missing something here? Could you not just use a pan on the hob and a blender?

    I've been Money Tipped!
Now I like my kitchen gadgets, but this has to be one of the biggest waste of money things I've seen in a while!

You can also make Sauces, Dips and Dressings, Purees, Smoothies and Cocktails, Desserts, Crushed Ice and Pate's..... Not bad for a small appliance in your kitchen, even better if there's only 1 person or you have a small kitchen or studio flat. Ideal for students too as they can make fresh soup in their dorm without the need of a cooker!

Could get a cheap slow cooker and do the same, course it would be lumpy soup unless you also have a blender. Slow cooker versatile too.

So it's a blender. And you can make it hot.

Although not to everyones taste I think full credit to you OP as it is a saving of £40 .
Some people will be buying this and this will be saving them a good amount of money.
  • I don't this is very money saving either and can see it being used once then banished to the back of the cupboard until 2 years later when it's sold on a bootsale for a fiver.

Got to be worth £10 though if you're a student with no kitchen?
