All depends really as RBS have never been very bankrupt freindly

have you had your receivers interview yet? have they said they have no interest in the account??

it could be frozen/closed at any time...took 9 months for barclays to close my account for example

I would hope you have already opened a 'basic' account with one of the [2] BR-friendly banks...Co-op or Barclays?

Any account which has a cheque book..or access to a limited overdraught facility, will eventually risk being closed/frozen.
No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......

still no indication of it being safe though even if the RBS is a basic account they can still close....best to look at barclays or the co-op that way then your covered
