We were up there 3 week ago (Pitlochry) with campervan, could see the lads planning setup, unfortunately we cant return for the event, but it certainly does look like a spectacle to see, penciled in for next year.0

We're going on Wednesday 3rd November - really looking forward to this as we were recommended to go by friends.
Hope it's not raining, though!!0 -

As a former resident of Pitlochry (frequent visitor though, my parents still live there) a good money saving tip is to go up when they are setting it up (1-2 weeks before the event starts) and watch them testing the lights for free!
As for raining.. quite likely.. but if the winter was like 2009/10 then snow is even more likely! :rotfl::exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!0 -

We went 2 years ago and had a great time - the laser light show was brilliant - weather bitterly cold but dry
Last year was a disaster - only one laser light of a horse - the rest were lit up things in the forest (like houses) the fire breathing dragon was ok - pouring down with rain - totally miserable!
Gave it a miss this year......will see what they plan for next yearKondo'ed 76 items from wardrobe, 4 carrier bags of books0
