I'm not bothered about the 'Hydratender complex' just the colour.
Anyone know of a cheaper lipstick which is the same colour?
Ta
Bought Bourjois Brun Orne is virtually the same and a lot less.

Thats a pretty colour and I'm sure MAC would have an alternative heres a link for you to check out http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/product/spp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CAT21861&PRODUCT_ID=PROD66092
also Bourjois might be worth a look as the products for Chanel are made in the same factory:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0 -
I'm a little disappointed with the Chanel lippy I bought. You can't really try it on in the store, other than test the colour on the back of your hand. It doesn't stay put as well as cheaper brands.
Perhaps not worth the price tag anyway.Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!0 -
a lovely orangey red colour. i have a colour like that from bourjois. clinique too. i think revlon should do a colour like that too. you would probably have to go into a big boots and swatch some of these alongside the chanel colour.0

What I do when I see a colour I like (for me tends to be eye shadow) is to wipe the colour onto a card or tissue then take it to the nearest Boots and try find if I can get a match.
However, I have found in the past that its so hard to get the exact colour I want, in one experience I tried and tried and tried again, buying what I thought was the right colour, and then not being hapy with it. I wanted an eyeshadow which would have set me back £10 from Mac. I spent £12 trying every nearest store, even mxing colours together. Waste of time and money! In the end I went back to the Mac store on my birthday and got the eye shadow I had originally wanted at full price!
If its a treat and you can afford it, get it. You'll appreciate it and use it with pride. If not, set aside some money every week and budget. You will likely find you appreciate it even more and it will give you that bit more of a boost- and that IME is priceless.0
