    id be really cross if they said i had failed the credit check rather than them just saying sorry.

    They can't win either way - they lie and people will know that they are doing so, they are honest and say it was a glitch and some (hopefully a minority) will still try to push the issue. I really hope that nobody does the latter.
    Gone ... or have I?

    just had an email from vodaphone to say that they have completed a credit check on me and will be despatching my phone shortly, fingers crossed ever hopeful

    Me too but that's automated so until a human passes it we're still not clear.

    My bf is a vodafone customer and signed up for this last night and has had an email to say he's failed the credit check so it's not definite just cos your with them already just to let u know.

    I spent too much time on facebook, so deleted it !!!
    Found a new hobby!!!

    Yes they could cos they could say you failed the credit check for a second phone to be added not everyone is allowed numerous contract phones even with the same network

    But my current phone is out of contract and I downsized to a £15pm tariff while waiting for a really good deal to come along... is this does come off I will be cancelling my current phone IYKWIM.

    p.s. Quidco still hasn't tracked grr. I will wait and see and maybe send an enquiry when I have my iPhone safely in my hands!!!

    What did everyone else get? I got the iPhone 4 for £89 and a contract for £5 a month. I have no idea what to do with the SS box as I don't need it.
