"When your neighbor loses his job it’s a Recession and when You lose yours it’s a DEPRESSION." (Harry S Truman)

It’s an old saying and people said it as a joke for some time but it is not funny anymore.

Jobs are not coming back either, not well paying jobs. Our Manufacturing base was outsourced. Many will do our jobs, for less money and there are many hungry job seekers.

Meanwhile our government sends out the Propaganda, and the controlled Media tells us everything is going to be fine.

Prints more Paper Money and Asset Strips the country...

So this is our official 'Depression Message Board' and anyone who agrees is welcome to update how bad the country is really getting.

I've got two jobs, so a recession then.

Although hang on, no, the economy is growing.

I think you worry too much Ashers, old thing.

Sensible people will already have understood and acted upon the analysis of Why The West Rules – For Now: The Patterns of History and what they reveal about the Future, and summarised as The West rules for now - but for how much longer?

And of course, we are demonstrably on the downward spiral set out in How It Ends.

Any realistic assessment of our demographics, natural resources, infrastructure, fiat finance, divided societies with Fifth Column and Ponzi welfarism will tell you that the West will tumble into calamitous decline over the next 30 years. The 'end of empire' signals are everywhere.

FACT - It's a race to the bottom between EU, Britain and USA with competitive currency devaluations, even so England would need 30,000,000 immigrants to have any chance competing against the BRIC. Our politicians will simply spend the next 30 years selling assets, first public and then seized private goods.

The housing chaos alone with cause no end of problems - councils are block booking B&B's in more rural and seaside areas (cheaper) for when families have to leave their accomodation in cities.

I bet the normally quiet communities will be just thrilled at the sudden influx of displaced city dwellers.

The number of people recieving unemployment payments has actually risen last month.

As that Nobel prize winning economist has said: "this is the economics of the mad-house".:eek:

    Lin :(
