How do I recycle jiffy bags?

Is there somewhere I can send them to be recycled? My council won't pick them up with the rest of the recycling.

Ditto batteries - if anyone has any suggestions, they'd be gratefully received.

Thanks!

As an ebay seller, I am always asking for used jiffy bags on my local freecycle site. I am sure someone will snap them up :)
  • Most local councils provide a battery disposal point at their amenties sites. This usually takes household batteries and car batteries. Why not ring and ask?

The reply about freecycling jiffy bags is a good one. I hang on to all mine for exactly the same reason ;)
  • Hang on to it yourself until you need it?
