Sewing machine spare pedal - toyota RS2000

Hi my partners daughter has lost her foot pedal for her sewing machine and planned on making things for christmas markets, but Ive been looking on line and keep seeing universal pedals. I have never even seen a sewing machine let alone used one so dont know if this means it definately fits or what. Plus they seem incredibly expensive, about 40 quid for the pedal?
Does anyone have this model of machine, what pedals would fit it?
She doesnt have internet so Im looking but didnt really want to pay that much (doubt if she can afford to pay me back in any case)
thanks

Hi,
This is the website for Toyota, www.home-sewing.com ,though I cant see any pedals .There is a contact section at the top where you can send them a message- might be worth a go?
