Dear Santa,
Please send 'rewired' a new keyboard for Christmas,
Thanks,
Derv, and all those who give thanks below.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -

Hope I can get one with some nice LEDs.
My campaign is to get rewired a new keyboard. Your`s obviously works, which seems to keep Hamish and chucky busy.
Anyway, only yourself and I have voted to get rewired a new keyboard, so much for the season of goodwill.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -

rewired is entitled to more than a new keyboard. Since joining MSE in June last year, rewired has thanked 300 posters for their contributions and received no thanks at all from anyone (though that's possibly because of rewired's malfunctioning keyboard.)
This isn't the 'nice people' thread but even so: in being so generous with the thanks, and in not name-calling anyone or posting anything remotely offensive or unintelligible, my vote is to forget the keyboard and instead give rewired a medal.0 -

You may be right. rewired is a top notch forum member, and from what I can gather, probably a bear rather than a bull.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -

anyway i think we can get re-wired a keyboard on amazon for ono a fiver. its not much is it
No, and rewired has thanked your post, so a cheap keyboard will be OK.
Mmmm, USB or PS2 ?
Hang on a second !!!!
Maybe rewired hasn`t got a computer, just a mobile phone. And that`s why rewired doesn`t type any replies, due to the tiny keyboard.
I don`t think we can stretch to a decent PC. The only person I think could afford it is Hamish. Come on Hamish, put your equity to good use. rewired needs a new computer, and not just a cheapo one. Quad Core Processor, 8GB RAM and a nice 24" Monitor should do the trick. Oh, and maybe you could stretch to a broadband subscription too. :j30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. A lot of us who would prefer prices to relate better to income levels (a preferable concept to the term "crash") have already bought their own pile of bricks. How are we explained away?0 -

Surely it's more about how mortgage costs relate to income levels, rather than house prices. That is what determines affordability for most. House prices are just a result of that affordability measure.0
