Can I be refused br?

My oh and i are in courrt on friday, spending most of our time this week filling in forms. Can anyone tell me, have they, or do they know of anyone who has been refused br?? very nervous and worried that now we have made the decision it will be refused and taken out of our hands!

As long as you are insolvent, and have taken advice about BR you will not be refused BR.:pB&SC No. 298

Hi lissaannet and welcome, As Dojoman says you have to to be insolvent and the general rule is that you must have taken advice, that can be the debt charities, an IP, an accountant or a solicitor, basically the judge just wants to be sure that you can never come back and try and overturn the order on the basis that you were not aware of all the consequences. I understand you must be nervous and a million questions going around your head, but we are all here to help so do ask away.
