Genereic sites for cheap bed and breakfasts \ hotels

Looking to go away for a few days from Tuesday - Thursday in a couple of weeks time, so will need accomodation for Tuesday and Wednesday night. Will be somewhere in the midlands/north area as me and my mate have not made up our mind where to stay yet.
Looking for somewhere cheap as possible, possibly single rooms as my mate snores like a rhino, although a twin with 2 single beds will do if it knocks a lot off the price.
Is there an online directory/site of places I can look at??

Just to give people a better Idea I'd probably be staying somewhere near Mansfield on the Tuesday night as Wycombe have got a game up there in the evening, then either Blackpool or Liverpool (for Anfield Tour, Beatles Mueseum) on the WednesdayWycombe Till I Die0

I travel a lot and it's unusual for B&Bs to discount. http://www.s-h-systems.co.uk/ is good for locating places tho'.
I've used several hotel sites and http://www.lastminute.com is usually about the easiest and cheapest.0 -
Cheers mate, that B&B site was grand
Not much more than £15 a night for the 3 places I searched which as long as its clean is fine by meWycombe Till I Die0 -
I agree - the smoothhound site (s h systems) is the best online B&B guide covering the entire country. And they do sometimes have exclusive rates.0
