I need a fence

could you not DIY it would save you £3000

I did consider that, but because it's on concrete, and it's on a bit of a slope, I wouldn't really know where to start. I am in a bit of a hurry for it too, as I have a new dog, who I need to fence in, so I thought, a joiner can do it in a day.0

I got a fence and gate built recently by these people - http://www.barrasshedcompany.co.uk/fencing.html
It is 5 ft high and probably 10 ft long. It is built on slabs and they came with a nifty gadget which allowed them to cut a hole to put the posts in. It cost £200, and I'm really pleased with the quality and the speed with which they did it0 -
That price sounds about right. It is probably about £100 in materials and it isn't a great deal of work but you will be charged for a full days labour anyway.0
